About Us...

I feel that I should take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My name is Naomi Richards and I am 22 years old. I began this project when I was 16 and vowed to complete the project by the end of 2005. I visited Ghana in July 2005 to see the completion of the project - and even did some hands on work painting the inside of the classrooms. On going funding and friendship is of great importance for this project to reach its potential. Due to the continuing devaluation of the local currency 17,000 cedis to the UK£1 (correct at March 2004) prices continue to rise in a bid for the locals to survive As the project is now at an end I am encouraging poeple to contact the schools directly if they wish to contribute financially to the community, however I am always more than happy to provide information on appropriate contributions or details regarding the Kindergarten or indeed St James Anglican schools.
